Weird problem with Google+ and +1's

I've been out of the loop for some time now, so I dunno if this is normal or not. Maybe some one out there can shed some light on the subject for me.

I've been getting notifications that some of my posts are getting +1'd.

When I check the post though, I don't see any +1's.

On one of my posts where it says two people had +1'd the post, it only shows one +1.

Another one notified me and told me that two people had +1'd the post, but I don't see any +1 activity.

Any one know what's up?
