I've changed the comment system on this blog (Booeyonline.com) and HighGeekValue.com. Previously, anyone could comment on a post using a variety of login options.
I've upgraded my blogger profile to Google+ and with that, am using the Google+ commenting system.
I share all my blog post on my Google+ profile. In the past, the comments made on the shared Google+ post and the comments published from the blog, were seperate. At times, it was like there was two different conversations going on - one on Google+, and one on the blog.
Now, everyone can be on the same page.
That's the upside.
The downside... all the previous comments / discussions made from the blog are now lost. They have been replaced with the comments from the Google+ profile. Also, you will need to have a Google+ profile in order to make a comment from the blog site. If you're going to comment on a blog post from Google+, well... then... you obviously already have Google+.
Any ways, that's it. Just wanted to give all y'all the heads up. I'm interested in seeing how this will play out.
